DADA Life Talent Bio:
Dada Life is a Swedish DJ duo formed in 2006. The group consists of Olle Corneer and Stefan Engblom, both of who are from Stockholm. They created a new nation in 2013, which claims any territory holding a Dada Compound event, and which they refer to as Dada Land. Later that year, Dada Life started a petition in which they asked the United Nations to recognize Dada Land as a sovereign nation. Swedish authorities became aware of this petition and decided to temporarily revoke the duo’s visas. Andin 2013, Dada Life broke the Guinness World Record for largest pillow fight at a Dada Land Compound event in Chicago; there were 3,813 participants. In DJ Magazine’s annual Top 100 DJs list, Dada Life was ranked 89th in 2010. In 2011, Dada Life moved up in ranking to 38th on the list. The following year, they moved up once more to 24th on the annual Top 100 DJs list. Dada Life has been a featured act in the Electric Daisy Carnival and the Ultra Music Carnival. In 2011, Dada Life performed their song “White Noise / Red Meat” with a full marching band at the Electric Daisy Carnival. The first full-length album they released, Just Do the Dada, was released in 2009. And in 2012, a second album was released. The Rules of Dada, the second album by Dada Life, reached number one on iTunes and entered the top twenty in the United States and the top ten in Canada. That same year, Dada Life went on a concert tour travelling to over 40 cities in the U.S. and Canada.
