Wanda Sykes
Most recently seen as a recurring character on Curb Your Enthusiasm, Wanda Sykes is one of the funniest comedians in America (ranked in the top 25 by Entertainment Weekly in 2004). After opening up for Chris Rock at a comedy show, Tammy eventually wrote for his TV show that ended up bringing her home an Emmy Award in 1999 for the comedy writing she did for The Chris Rock Show. Tammy has also appeared in many movies including License to Wed, Monster-in-Law, Pootie Tang, Evan Almighty, and My Super Ex-Girlfriend. Sykes has had three Comedy Central Specials, was ranked 70th on Comedy Central’s all-time funniest stand up comedians, has hosted Premium Blend, received an American Comedy Award in 2001 for Outstanding Female Comic, and three Emmy’s for her role on the show Inside the NFL.
