Violent Femmes

Formed in Milwaukee Wisconsin in 1980, alternative rock band Violent Femmes would go on to become one of the most successful rock bands of the 1980 - 90's.  Their self titled debut album "Violent Femmes" released in 1983 would establish their unique brand of "folk punk" and eventually go on to be certified platinum.  Launching singles such as "Add It Up" and "Blister in the Sun" the album still enjoys play on rock radio nearly three decades later.  The band has since released numerous albums to critical success while touring internationally to sold out crowds.  Booking Violent Femmes is a great opportunity to bring a great American rock band to a stage near you.
