Travie McCoy of Gym Class Heroes
American singer/rapper Travie McCoy rose to fame as front man for the popular alternative hip hop group Gym Class Heroes. After securing a deal with Fueled By Ramen Records, the band would reach mainstream success with the release of their 2006 album "As Cruel as School Children". The album would produce the hit single "Cupid's Chokehold" which would go on to peak at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100. As a solo artist, McCoy would release his debut album Lazarus in June of 2010 to widespread success. The album's lead single "Billionaire" featuring Bruno Mars would peak at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reach double platinum certification by the RIAA. McCoy is currently working on the upcoming Gym Class Heroes album, The Papercut Chronicles II. Booking Travie McCoy is an amazing idea if you want to bring an indie hip hop superstar to your next event.
