The Who

Who, who, who, who, who are they?  The Who, that's who, and they are one rocking English rock band, selling around 100 million records. The band of four was formed by Roger Daltrey, lead vocals and guitar player for The Who. Daltrey recruited John Entwistle for bass guitar and back-up vocals, Keith Moon to play drums, and Peter Townshend who plays the keyboard, guitar, and sings as well. This UK foursome rose to fame in 1965 with multiple hit singles that made the top ten hitless.  Their first two albums My Generation, and A Quick One reached the UK's top five. Their first Top 40 hit in the United States was "Happy Jack", which made them quite "happy" to be circulating in the US. They became increasingly famous by performing at huge music festivals such as Woodstock and Isle of Wright.  Booking the Who is a great idea if you want one of the most legendary bands of all time to come and play your next event.
