Hailing from Portland, Oregon this indie folk/pop band released their first album in 2008 with their album titled “Volume 1” which reached as high as #8 on the US Indie charts. Zooey Deschanel (from Elf and the TV show New Girl) sings for this two-piece band, as well as piano and ukulele, and M. Ward plays guitar and works with production. Their second album, “Volume Two,” reached number one positions on four different US charts including the Alternative, Folk, Indie, and Rock charts.
