Mos Def

Mos Def born Dante Terrell Smith on December 11, 1973 is an outstanding MC and actor whose outstanding talent guarantees that booking Mos Def is the key to the success of your next event. The artist started his music career in 1994 with the group Urban Thermo Dynamics that included his younger brother DCQ and sister Ces. Later on together with Talib Kweli,  Mos Def formed the group Black Star.

Mos Def began his solo career with the album Black on Both Sides in 1999 that was certified gold. It included the songs Do It Now featuring Busta Rhymes and Know That with Talib Kweli. His second album The New was released in 2004 is a unique mixture of hip hop, rock, blues and soul songs. The album that included the single Sex, Love & Money reached number two on Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums. Mos Def's third solo album True Magic was released in 2006. Along his career Mos Def has received Grammy Award nominations for Best Urban/Alternative Performance.
