Marques Wyatt is often acknowledged as introducing East Coast house music to his native Los Angeles in the mid ‘80s, by mixing at now legendary parties like BBC, MAC's Garage and Does Your Mama Know.

Marques is also credited with bringing “acid jazz” to Los Angeles through his weekly Brass party, which featured big name acts like Jamiroquai and the Brand New Heavies. All the while Wyatt continued to develop his own style of soulfully organic house, playing with such luminaries as Frankie Knuckles, Louie Vega, David Morales, Danny Tenaglia, Mark Farina and Miguel Migs.

Marques’ uncanny ability to create epic parties has lead to his LA weekly house institution, Deep, which is now in its tenth year.   Wyatt has also released tracks and remixes on Om, Strictly Rhythm, King Street, Nervous and Yoshitoshi. His skills as a talented DJ, promoter, and producer have made him one of the most in demand house music artists, both in the US and abroad.

He plays everywhere from Los Angeles to New York, Shanghai to Barcelona and Tel Aviv to Dubai with the mission of bringing the soulful magic of house music to the masses.
