Lee (Scratch) Perry
One of the pioneers of the dub/reggae style of music, Lee "Scratch" Perry was key in bringing it to an international audience. He is responsible for the hit record "People Funny Boy," which moved over 70,000 units in Jamaica by itself. Perry took to producing music for an array of historic reggae artists such as Bob Marley and the Wailers, The Heptones, and Junior Byles. His album "Jamaican E.T." won the best album for reggae music at the Grammy Awards in 2003. He was also recognized as one of the top 100 best musicians of all-time by Rolling Stone.
