Katy Perry

Hailing from Santa Barbara, California, Perry began singing at a young age often performing in the gospel choir for her Christian church.  After many years of unsuccessful projects and being dropped from a couple different major labels, Katy Perry released the album One of the Boys with the hit single I Kissed a Girl, which peaked at number one on the Hot 100 charts for seven weeks.  The album eventually went on to be certified platinum and peaked at nine on Billboard’s top 200.  After a flurry of award show wins, nominations, and hosting appearances, Perry began working on her next album, Teenage Dream, which dropped August 2010.  The album was a huge platinum success and had five number one hits that on the Billboard Hot 100, which makes Perry the first female musician to have had five #1 hits on the chart over the span of one year.  Booking Katy Perry will definitely bring her hits such as California Gurls, Teenage Dream, Firework, ET, and Last Friday Night to any event.
