Jeremy Hotz
After crafting his unique brand of stand-up comedy across Canadian stages, Ottawa native Jeremy Hotz has built himself into an international comedy star. Hotz first break took place at the 1997 Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, where a memorable performance helped catapult interest from many of the major American networks. In addition to appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Hotz has appeared in his own half-hour special featured on the Comedy Central. In addition to his work in front of the camera, Hotz has worked as a staff writer for Paramount's critically acclaimed show The Jon Stewart Show and received a Gemini nomination for Best Writing in Comedy or Variety Show or Series for his half hour comedy special What Happened to Jeremy Hotz?.
