JB Smoove
North Carolina native J.B. Smoove landed his break out role on the HBO hit show Curb Your Enthusiasm, where he has played the hilarious role of Leon Black since 2007. Prior to his role as Leon, J.B. appeared frequently on MTV's The Lyricist Lounge Show, as well as roles on The Chris Rock Show and Premium Blend. In 2000 Smoove made his feature film debut narrating and starring alongside Chris Rock in the movie Pootie Tang. The following year he enjoyed success alongside Adam Sandler in the movie Mr. Deeds. In addition to his successful career in front of the camera, Smoove was a recipient of the 2007 Writers Guild of America award for Best Comedy/Variety Series for his writing on Saturday Night Live. Smoove can currently be found starring alongside Brad Garrett and Joely Fischer on Fox's hit sitcom Til Death.
