Since bursting onto the comedy scene in 1992, Janeane Garofalo has enjoyed critical success across the entertainment world. After tackling the New York City stand-up comedy scene, Garofalo made her television series debut on the Ben Stiller Show. She then went on to join the cast of Saturday Night Live during its 1994-1995 season, and follow that up with an Emmy Award nomination for her role as Paula on the HBO series The Larry Sanders Show. More recently she has enjoyed success starring on the cast of the television series 24. On the big screen Garofalo has left her footprints everywhere from the Disney/Pixar animation Ratatouille to the critically acclaimed film The Truth About Cats and Dogs. In addition to her successful entertainment career, Garofalo was instrumental in launching Air America Radio, the first liberal radio network, where she contributed her own talk show, The Majority Report.
