Ice-T

The outstanding rapper, actor, and author Ice-T was born Tracy Lauren Marrow on February 14, 1954 in New Jersey. The rapper made his debut in 1987 with the album Rhyme Pays that reached number 26 on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums. His next album Power was released in 1988 and was certified gold. It included the single I'm Your Pusher that was a major hit on MTV. The album that consecrated Ice-T as an excellent rapper was The Iceberg/Freedom of Speech... Just Watch What You Say that was released in 1989. The artist’s next album OG: Original Gangster released in 1991 is considered to have definitely shape the gangsta rap genre.

The album features the rock band Body Count and includes the tracks Home of the Bodybag and First Impression. His eighth album Gangsta Rap released in 2006 includes the famous Ridin' Low.  Besides having a career in music, Ice-T is also known as an actor in films such as films Breakin', Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo in 1984 and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit to mention only a few.
