Hank Jones
American jazz pianist Hank Jones rose to prominence handling the keys for everyone from Frank Sinatra to Ella Fitzgerald. Recording over sixty albums throughout his career, Jones was also the recipient of many awards, including a 2009 Lifetime Achievement Awards Grammy. In 1989 Jones was awarded the NEA Jazz Masters Award by the National Endowment for the Arts. He has also been presented an honorable doctorate degree by the University of Hartford for his musical achievements.
