Grandmaster Flash
Hailing from the South Bronx, Grandmaster Flash is known as one of the pioneers of the hip hop scene, mostly recognized for his work with deejaying, mixing, and cutting. In 2007, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted him and the Furious Five as the first hip hop artists into the hall. The Furious Five was the super group that Flash deejayed and produced for and they became known as some of the forefathers for freestyle battles and emceeing in the mid 70's to early 80's.
