Erin Brockovich

Hailing from Lawrence, Kansas, Erin Brockovich is one of the most famous environmental activist of our time.  She was responsible for the 1993 case against PG&E where she proved the company contaminated drinking water in the southern California city Hinkley.  The case gained so much fame that Julia Roberts starred in a film made about the story titled Erin Brokovich.  The movie went on to be nominated for five Oscars, in which Best Actress was won by Julia Roberts.  She has since opened many more cases regarding environmental issues, published a New York Time’s bestselling book, and appeared on various TV shows where she has spoke about environmental issues.  Booking Erin Brokovich is a great idea if you need a speaker to speak about current environmental issues in our society.
