Duran Duran

Hailing from Birmingham, England, this band was one of the most influential pop rock bands of the 1980’s.  A lot of their success had to do with their risqué music videos that were some of the first ever aired in the history of MTV.  Among all the hit songs Duran Duran released over their reign, over 20 of their records ranked on the “Billboard Hot 100” charts, with another fourteen of the singles placing within the top ten on UK charts.  Some of these smash singles include the tracks “Hungry Like a Wolf,” “Save a Prayer,” “Rio,” “The Reflex,” “The Wild Boys,” and “Ordinary World.”  Duran Duran won twice during the 1984 Grammy awards for the category of short and long form.  Booking Duran Duran is a great idea if you want one of the most influential bands of the 80’s to come and rock out at your next party or event.
