D.L. Hughley
D.L. Hughley was born in Los Angeles, CA on March 6, 1963. His career began its meteoric rise in 1992 when he became the host of BET’s “ComicView”. He then parlayed his success as a stand up comic and received his own show called “The Hughleys” which he starred, wrote, and produced from 1998 to 2002. He was one of the members of the “Kings of Comedy” tour and also the host of the 2008 BET Awards. During his career he has also been in front of the camera for shows like “Scrubs” where he played “Turks” brother. He also has been on radio hosting his own show for the radio station WRKS in New York which was subsequently in direct competition with his friend and co-star of “Kings of Comedy” Steve Harvey.
