DJ Quik

Hailing from Compton, California, this rapper/DJ has produced, remixed, and written many tracks for multiple recording artists.  Quik Is the Name, DJ Quik’s debut album, produced two top 20 hits and eventually was certified platinum.  Quik was signed to Death Row Records put out a #14 chart topping album as well as playing a huge role in the 2pac multi-platinum album All Eyez On Me, mixing over half the album and producing many of the tracks.  Other smash Death Row Records albums DJ Quik worked on were Tha Doggfather and Dogg Food.  Other artists he has produced for include Nate Dogg, the Luniz, Jermaine Dupri, Whiney Houston, Xzibit, Kurupt, Erick Sermon, and Janet Jackson.  Booking DJ Quik is a great idea if you’re interested in having a west coast legend of a DJ perform at your next event.
