DJ Muggs

Hailing from Queens, New York, DJ Muggs is most famous for his part as producer and DJ of the hip hop group Cypress Hill.  With the group he produced for seven of their albums between 1991 and 2004, four of which gained platinum status and three went gold.  He also produced the hits Jump Around for House of Pain and Check Yo Self by Ice Cube.  He released the album Soul Assassins that featured rappers Dr. Dre, RZA, GZA, KRS One, Mobb Deep, and Wyclef Jean to name a few.  He is also is responsible for the critically acclaimed project Grandmasters which he produced with GZA and the project Cloak & Dagger he co-produced with his onetime protégé Alchemist.  Booking DJ Muggs is a great idea if you want one of the hip hop heavyweights to come spin at your next party or event.
