Dave Attell

Dave Attell is an American standup comedian, as well as television star and actor. He was born in Queens, New York in 1965. Dave’s was as a television writer on shows like “Saturday Night Live” and “The Jon Stewart Show” from 1993 to 1995. He later went on to appear on the “The Daily Show”. Dave Attell also hosted two cable television shows called “Insomniac with Dave Attell” and “The Gong Show with Dave Attell”. With all the success as a television entity he also was a fixture in comedy clubs all over the country and continues to take his act on the road. One of his more quirky roles on the big screen came when he played the role of “Frank” in the movie “Pootie Tang” which was written and directed by comedian Louis C.K.
