D Militant has been very successful writer and standup comic throughout the years. He was first hired as sketch writer for the Tom Joyner Morning Show, which was on CBS radio. He later went on to become the exclusive writer for DL Hughley while he was the host of “Comic View” on BET. He also was brought on to “Comic View” as a writer and producer. All the while he was a fixture in the stand up comedy scene. He has toured the world as a standup comic and performed with the likes of Chris Rock, DL Hughley, Earthquake, Cedric the Entertainer and many more. He is the first African American man to serve on the advisory board for the comedy Hall of Fame. Recently he has been one of the writers behind the scenes for mega star Katt Williams.
