Chris Rock

Chris Rock born February 7, 1965 in Andrews, SC later moved to Brooklyn with his family. At a very early age Chris was the subject of discrimination and harassment as he was one of few black children to attend an all white public school. At 18 Chris was noticed by comedy great Eddie Murphy and even given a role in his movie “Beverly Hills Cop 2”. Then in 1990 Chris went on to join Saturday Nigh Live and was a regular character for 3 seasons. In 1996 Chris caught his big break when HBO gave him his own comedy special, which he titled “Bring The Pain”. The special went on to win two Emmy awards. After the success of his hit special HBO gave him his own show “The Chris Rock Show”. Chris now has his own television show called “Everybody Hates Chris” which airs on the CW network.
