Chingy
Chingy by his real name Howard Bailey, Jr. was born on March 9, 1980. He is one of the most remarkable representatives of Southern rap, which makes booking Chingy a guaranteed success. The artist released his debut album Jackpot in 2003 and it featured appearances of great hip hop names such as Ludacris, Snoop Dogg, Murphy Lee, Trina, and Jermaine Dupri. Within a year since its release, Jackpot won three times platinum.
Following his successful debut, the rapper released a second album, Powerballin' in 2004 hit and featured the singles Balla Baby and Don't Worry. The album featured guest appearances from artists R. Kelly, Bun B, Lil Wayne, Lil Flip, and Janet Jackson.
Hoodstar is rapper’s third album, released on in 2006. The album featured a wide variety of producers and rappers, such as Mr. Collipark, Jermaine Dupri, Timbaland, and Mannie Fresh. A year later, he released his fourth album Hate It or Love It and he is planning on releasing Everything and Nothing in late 2008. |
