A widely successful comedy duo made up of Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong. Cheech and Chong released their first movie in 1978, which was called “Up In Smoke” it was a widely successful counter culture film that captivated audiences all across the country. The movie grossed over 100 million dollars. It was known as somewhat of a cult classic and a follow up called “Cheech and Chongs Next Movie” was made in 1980. Then in 1981 another filmed titled “Nice Dreams” was produced and released. They went on to make five more films. Tommy Chong was responsible for directing all eight of the feature films that the duo created.
