Celine Dion was born in Charlemagne, Canada on March 30, 1968. She is a singer, songwriter, composer, and actress. Her career started in Canada where she enjoyed success from 1990 to 1993. Then in 1996 she released the album Falling Into You which was internationally accepted. It went on to reach No.1 in the US charts and was heralded by critics. The album sold over 11 million copies. Dion got great news in 1996 when she was asked to perform her song The Power of A Dream at the Atlanta Olympics. The album contained the smash single, which was featured on the hit movie Titanic called My Heart Will Go On. The song won Best Original Song at both the Academy Awards as well as the Golden Globe Awards. In 2003 Dion signed on with Caesars Palace in Las Vegas for her own live show called A New Day.
