Boys Like Girls

Hailing from Massachusetts, this emo rock band had a quick rise to fame in the last couple years.  Their first album, “Boys Like Girls” was the band’s first major success, topping charts in 2006 grabbing the #1 position due to high demand for their music, eventually getting the album gold certification.  Their self-title album garnered the hit singles “Hero/Heroine” (#22, gold certification), “The Great Escape” (#8, platinum certification), and “Thunder” (#21, gold certification).   They collaborated with Taylor Swift on the track “Two Is Better Than One” off their sophomore album “Love Drunk,” which ended up claiming platinum sales certification for the single, but failed to gain even silver honors for album sales (although the record ranked at #1 on the U.S. rock album charts).  Booking Boys Like Girls is an awesome idea if you want an amazing pop, emo rock band to come and spice up your next event.
