Bobby V.

Bobby V. (formerly known as Bobby Valentino) is an American R&B, Neo-Soul and Hip-Hop vocalist. He first hit the charts as a member of Mista, the teenage group which released the hit single “Blackberry Molasses.” He later reinvented himself as Bobby V. and smashed onto the scene with 2005 chart-topper “Slow Down.” His self-titled solo debut, released later that year on fellow Atlantan Ludacris’s Disturbing Tha Peace/Def Jam label, reached number three on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart.

His second record, "Special Occasion," was barely supported by his soon-to-be-former label. After this experience Bobby V. reinvented his career and came up with "Rebirth," his most  personal album to date. The album's lead single “BEEP,” details the joys of adventurous sex. Rebirth also marks Bobby’s production debut with the track “Make Me Say,” which was inspired by the hook he wrote and sings on Lil’ Wayne’s flirtatious hit “Mrs. Officer.”

In 2010 Bobby released a mixtape entitled "60 Minutes" which is hosted by DJ Drama & DJ Sense. The "60 Minutes" mixtape features guest stars like Gucci Mane, Nicki Minaj, Ludacris, Jadakiss & many more. Bobby V is currently in the studio working on his fourth album, "Fly On The Wall," which is to be released on Capitol Records/Blu Kolla Dreams.

Bobby V. is also expanding his philanthropic efforts through The Bobby V. Foundation, which focuses on giving others the opportunity to go to college. The Clark Atlanta graduate shares, “Going to college was one of my best experiences and I just want to provide that opportunity [for others] and stress the importance of being educated."
