Anastacia is an American born singer and songwriter. She was born September 17, 1968 in Chicago, IL. Her parents were both involved in entertainment, her father was a singer and mother an actress. Her debut album was called Not That Kind and was released in 2000. The album enjoyed the majority of its success overseas instantly making her an international star. The next album she released was called Freak of Nature and went triple platinum in the UK. Aside from her successful album sales she also had 3 major tours that she was apart of from 2004-2010.
